Collection: The Fool Moon Project

The Fool Moon project began during a time when Leezy found it difficult to focus, distracted by her surroundings and daily noise. The intention of this project draws inspiration from the Zen practice of ensō, the meditative act of painting a circle in one breath. Similarly, each moon jar is slowly hand-built through a repetitive coiling process, forming circle upon circle. For Leezy, this ritual becomes a quiet pursuit of peace, not seeking perfect form, but a right state of mind. The discipline of repetition gradually dissolves distractions, turning the act of making into a form of meditation and presence.
